Hello, as you probably know I haven't posted on this blog in months, I never realised how popular this blog got, in total we had 769 views. I stumbled accross this blog today after logging in with the wrong email, as my two emails are very similar, and I would like to some how revive it! I have a few ideas and would love to hear what you think of them. I have added a poll on the blog, if I get enough votes I will revive this tired looking blog and continue the story! (I leave school in 5 days which will give me so much more time). I'd just like to say that because of the new and exciting release of Generations looming it would make the story so much more interesting and fun.
If you posted other on the poll please comment on this post to what I should do next, if I get loads of ideas I'll make another poll and ask the public how they would like the story to continue.
Here are two pictures, don't know why but ye!

Chapter 5: Losing, Love and Lies
"Dear Bertie,
You are my best friend and I've made this note as it's the best thing for us both, saying goodbye is never an easy thing. Tomorrow morn I shall be leaving Sunset Valley and moving to Bridgeport with my husband and child. I would have invited you but the stresses of moving is never a good thing just after a baby is born, I never planned this it just happened. I shall write and visit all the time and if there are any problems that you need help with don't hesitate to pick up the phone and call my mobile, you know my number. I have been saving money up and I've left one thousand simoleons in the envelope, please use it wisely and enjoy. I'm so lucky to have such a good friend, thank you.
All my love,
Joscota"
Bertie didn't cry, what good would it do. Although she has lost a good friend but she has a baby to think of, how will she get money now? She decides that she'll have a go on the computer and try to write something that's good enough to sell, but it doesn't seem to go that well as she makes seven simoleons...
After giving birth last night Bertie was really looking forward to looking after her new born child, she's always wanted to be a mother since she was a little girl playing with her dolls, now it's a reality!
It's time to go out into the world and find someone to share parenthood with, not that that will be easy, but as we know she is determined! Time to once again take a trip to Central Park which is the place where she met the father of her child.
As she got there she couldn't see any men (at all actually) but then from behind the tree's a man appeared and he walked closer and closer until he started talking to a young woman, aww, he must be with her. But just as she was about to have a game of chess she notices the young woman smack the man and walk away, it's her time to take a step into the scene!
It gets off to a really good start, they talk about work (yes he has a job!) babies, she doesn't seem to mention the fact she has a child though, this may force him to leave and she doesn't want that. After they start getting friendlier she tells the gentleman about the fact that Joscota left and that she's all on her own. He decided to give a hug, awww!
Bertie decides that she hasn't got all day and she guessed he was looking for love as well so she decides to go in for a kiss, and he lets her! This could be the man that she's been looking for, desperate! But now she's got to tell him that she has a child.
She decides that she'll invite him over, give him some food and then tell him (sound familiar), that's got to work, I mean why wouldn't it ¬¬
As they get there Bertie decides that it's not the time to tell him about Grace, I mean it's too soon, if it's not going to last then what's the point in telling him! She changes her mind and decides to kiss him instead!
It seems Bertie had an enjoyable night (shudders)
(Sorry that it took so long and that it's quite short, I've been quite busy recently)

Chapter 4: Picking up the pieces
As a famous muppet once said, life is full of meetings and partings, that is the way of it. Bertie has lost the father of her child but she's always got friends to help her along the way, oh wait... no she hasn't. Oh well at least she has her baby, not that it'll bring any money to the house, and as she's pregnant a job is off the table. But she can always work on her dream of being an illustrative author. But as we know, she's not exactly a computer wizz.
As she's now on her own she needs a stable relationship and a man to bring in the cash while she's looking after the baby, so we're back to the start, she's off to the Central Park to see if she can find anyone willing to bring up her child.
When she gets there she meets a friendly fellow named Xander (oh god...) and they get off to a great start, they chat and all the stuff. But then just as it's going well she anounces her pregnancy and he backs off, he shuns her, just like Iqbal did all them days ago and for some reason she feels that she needs to go in for a hug, oh dear.
After this she decides that she should just cut her loses and see if her friend Joscota is in, wants a chat and it'll give her the chance to announce the pregnancy!
She tells her about the baby and the situation and that she's running out of the money her mother left her and then she asks Joscota if she'd like to feel the baby kicking, she accepts and gets right too it.
Berties phone then starts to ring and it's from the Sunset Valley council, they tell her that if she doesn't pay the bills soon the house will be taken off her and she'll be left homeless. After telling Jocata of the situation she does something very shocking, she puts accross the idea of her moving in with Bertie and leaving her husband and child in their current home, not a permanant thing of course, just to keep her stable. Bertie jumps to the idea (not literally, I doubt she could)
With the extra money that Joscota brings to the house Bertie rings up the local building company and they get to work building two new bedrooms for the new baby and her new best friend Jocata!
Everything seemed to be going fantastic, Joscota has a job and is bringing in more then enough to help and Berties pregnancy seems to be going good. Then Bertie goes into labour and is rushed to the hospital to give birth, everything goes great and a new baby girl is born into the Redgrave family!
The baby, which was named Grace was brought home and put into its brand new room, it slept the whole night through and Bertie did too, it's been a long and tiring day for them both, but what lies ahead? You'll just have to read the next chapter...

Chapter 3: Happily NEVER after
After the kiss last night Bertie woke up happy for the first time in a long time and was ready to face the day. She got a shower, had breakfast and called up Chris and he came over straight away!
It seems that her life is starting to turn around and it's for the better and from the picture below they seem to be getting even better if you catch my drift. Hint hint nudge nudge... I think we should let them get on with it don't you?
In the night a sharp noise woke up both Bertie and Chris and after running to the lounge what they found wasn't the greatest of things. It seems a robber broke into the house and stole the computer, never a good thing, but what is good is that Bertie purchased a burglar alarm the day before! Wo the police arived quick. Not that they were any good at all.
But to make everything even worse Bertie isn't feeling too well... oh wait... oops, either she's ate some bad canned soup or she's got a bun baking in the oven and no I don't mean that literally, but I guess theres only one way to find out!
(sorry about the plumbob)
After the terrible nights sleep Bertie decided that it was time to try and fulfil her life time objective and become an illustrative author and do a bit of practice writing, she didn't do too well though, she can't even work the computer! Oh well I guess she'll get better over time and maybe one day she will do it.
After a bit of housework and food something quite scary happened, I think a change of clothing is in order, she's pregnant... After just one night together and just two days she's now pregnant. She's decided that she'll tell Chris when he gets home from work but how he'll react is what she's scared of.
When Chris got home she decided she'd cook him a nice meal (yeh, right...) and then straight after sit him down and tell him, so she cooked him some Mac and Cheese but this time it wasn't burnt, which is good. She then sat him down and asked if he wanted children and then got to the morning sickness and then just came out with it, she told him she was pregnant, and he didn't take it well at all. He started shouting and yelling at Bertie.
He then got his stuff and left. She's right back to where she started but now she's got two mouths to feed and someone else to look after.
Chapter 2: The search continues...
After a unsuccessful day yesterday Bertie is feeling positive today. She was thinking that her luck must change some time (but with the unlucky trait I doubt it..) Time to get up and continue the search!
Maybe it was time to change the old look, after all she was a spitting image of her mother, and every time she looked in the mirror a wave of guilt would suffacate her, yes... change is always good! Nice teeth btw.
That's better. After a quick nap (she had a bad nights sleep) she decided that she'd absorb some artistic inspiration and take a quick trip to the art gallery, and maybe even meet some guys while she's there. But that's not the top thing on her list.. of course not..
She was admiring the art (is that even art..?) when something outside caught her eye, it was a man and he was alone (or so it seemed) so she decided that she'd have a break from looking at 'art' and introduce herself to this mystery man!
He seemed quite nice and everything was going well, and this time she didn't ruin the mood by asking him if he was single, she was quite sure he was, I mean he wasn't exactly the best looking sim around, but beggers can't be chosers!
They seemed to get along really well and they got chatting more and more until she decided to ask him that question... the dreaded question, and to her amazment he didn't take it the wrong way and run a mile, he actually gave her a solid answer, he was single! This was some really good news for Bertie and they decided to meet up again somwhere more private, which is always a good thing...
She was now feeling really good about herself and decided to have a quick trip to Central Park and admire nature! But something happened which she didn't expect, a man actually started talking to her, this was something quite new to her as he wasn't shouting and blowing his top at her, he was just chatting. They began to become more and more friendly and she didn't even feel to ask if he was single or not, she just acted friendly and hoped for the best, the most suprising thing was that he was quite good looking!
After speaking with him for over an hour she found herself glued to him, she decided to ask him if he wanted to come over for something to eat... but I think that's not what she had in mind, he actually said yes!
After they got there she tried to cook him a nice meal but unfortually she can't actually cook, she basically survives on cans of soup, but she still tried I guess.
Now they were becoming even more close and for the first time in her life someone genuinly liked her and she decided to go in for a kiss and he let her, she had fallen in love with a man she had just met, was this a mistake?
After this it was time for bed and she kissed him goodbye and he left, she was so happy that she couldn't contain it. She had to call her 'friend' Joscota but it went straight to answer phone, oh well...

Chapter 1: The search for love!
Hello, this is Bertie Redgrave. She's a young adult searching for love, but so far she hasn't had any luck. She's recently moved to Sunset Vallet after her mother left her a house in her will and she's hoping to find that special someone, let the search begin!
As you can see she's not exactly a supermodel and because of that she hasn't always got what she wanted or deserved, when she was 16 she moved away after her mother and father split up, she lost contact with them both and now both have passed away.
Her search starts in Sunset Valley's famous Central Park, it's always a good place to start when looking for guys! When looking for guys there is one thing to remember, give everyone a chance, who knows, they might be a secret millionaire! OK that's quite doubtful but they might be quite a nice person.
After searching around the park she was about to give up when she saw a man talking to a young woman. She might have been his wife or girlfriend for all Bertie knew but it was worth a try at least! They got off to a flying start talking about work, families and all that jazz. His name was Iqbal.
After a good start Bertie got a little ahead of herself and asked the big question, are you single. This didn't seem to go down well, but of course she tried to redeem herself by telling a funny story, but this didn't go down very well, he just shunned her, maybe it's time to just move on.
After having no luck in Central Park she decided to go for a swim at the local swimming pool, there must be some guys there, surely? But when she got there she couldn't see any, I can't think why...
She decided that she shouldn't waste all her time looking for guys, so she took a break and went for a light swim! She met a nice woman named Jocasta (Who thinks of these names seriously?) and they played a few games in the pool but as everyone was going so well she had to go and ruin it, she's not the best at making friends.
Maybe it was time to give up on fiding a boyfriend and making friends and get something to eat! She went down to Hogan's and ate alone, obviously. After this she decided to call up her new "friend" Jocasta and see if she wanted to come out and go for a meal or something, she promptly declined.
Maybe it's time to retire for the night...
